4TH OF JULY SLOSHBALL AND BBQ
What: Sloshball. An indeterminate number of wankers go through the motions of playing like its actually a softball game, but the real goal is to pass 2nd base as often as possible, because that’s where the keg is. You have to slam a beer before proceeding to 3d base. Oh, and your home runs (or strike outs) have nothing to do with who wins, which is actually decided by a chug-off by representatives of the opposing teams at the end.
When: Friday July 4th 2:00 HST
Where: Alimacani Elementary School, 2051 San Pablo Rd S.
HEAD East on Atlantic BLVD. San Pablo Road is the last major intersection before the Ditch (Intercoastal) / Beaches. Turn right / South on San Pablo and it’s a few hundred meters down and on the left.
Bring: if you have them, mitts and/or bats and sun screen. If you don’t play in a league, don’t worry, most of us suck at the whole hitting a moving ball thing.

What: BBQ. We’re calling it a BBQ because we’re providing BBQ stuff from Bonos (or someplace like that), but we really don’t want to go to the trouble of grilling food ourselves. We’ll drag what’s left of the keg from Sloshball where it will join a cousin keg that has been icing down at P33s house while we’ve been sloshballing. Limp Dick will play the guitar and sing if he can’t get a paying job that day. Escort is eloping to las vegas instead of Tahitian dancing, so we can only hope Yak will show up to shoot fireworks out of his butt for further entertainment. There will be tippy cup and possibly beer pong and 3 man. At about 10:00 P.M. we’ll meander across the street to the beach and watch the fireworks. Optional skinny dipping in the saltwater pool, then float the kegs and demand more beer.
When: 5:00 HST
Where: PreTeen/P33s house, 753 south 2nd street. Head east on Atlantic, Beach BLVD or JTB until you hit A1A/3d Street. From Atlantic or Beach, go right / south on A1A/3d Street to 7th Avenue South and turn left, then turn right on 2nd street south and you’ll see the duplex on the left. From JTB, go north instead of south on A1A / 3d Street and then follow the same directions only backwards.
Cost: $10 (dinner/beer/entertainment for the evening)
