| Body |
A tear escapes my grieving eye,
I never really got to say good-bye.
Days have passed since your body died,
and the pain remains still inside.
Some bitter emptiness hangs around,
in the air and on the ground.
A child you are, a leaf in the breeze,
smiling and laughing with perfect ease.
And when you left our hearts went too.
But after time our hearts re-new.
We were young when we last met,
face to face with never a regret.
When we were together then,
we only hashed, drank beer and hashed again.
I want you to know,
that the hashers will never let you go.
We miss you like we'll miss no other,
for you are our precious, hashing brother.
Look forward to the next time Mr. President.....
Luv ya,
